Points Redemption
Members can redeem their points through various channels, such as a POS system, vending machines, in-app platforms, and more. They also have the flexibility to redeem rewards with points, partially or opt for hybrid redemptions using a combination of points and cash.
Redemption Panel Store User Setting
The Store User role provides admin-level control for points redemptions. For example, when a member redeems a reward, the store user can scan a QR code to identify which reward the member is using. The system then tracks important details, such as who processed the redemption and which branch the transaction took place at. This ensures accurate tracking and accountability.
Hybrid Redemption
Members can redeem rewards using not just points but a combination of points and cash. In real-life use cases, businesses can let members buy new products by using points along with a discounted cash price.
Businesses can also allow members who don’t have enough points to use cash, e-wallets, or vouchers along with points to redeem rewards. However, this flexibility needs to be set up by the IT team.
Redemption Type
Rewards can be redeemed through various methods, such as bar codes, QR codes, external QR codes, pin numbers, and more. Each unique code represents the rewards’ redemption process. Choosing the right method is essential to cater to the brand’s redemption channel and requirement.
Admin Panel Reward Redemption Process
Merchants or brands can access the redemption panel by simply scanning the QR code presented by members to validate reward redemptions and maintain records.
1. Log in to the Redemption Panel
Log in to the redemption panel for a specific user or branch. Each user is assigned a unique username and password.
2. Scan the Reward QR Code
Use the redemption panel to scan the reward QR code shown by the member to validate the reward.
3. Confirm Redemption
Click “Confirm” to finalize the redemption and ensure the member is using the correct reward.
Offline Member Points Redemption
In addition to online points-to-reward exchanges, members can redeem their points for rewards directly at offline stores.
To redeem, members simply present their QR code, which the staff scans to complete the transaction. For instance, in retail scenarios, members can instantly use their points by scanning a code to redeem products directly in-store.
This approach allows members to experience the product firsthand before redeeming, enhancing their satisfaction and encouraging point usage.
